No Responses!I've had my resume on many career sites for approximately 3 years and I've only had 4 calls for telephone interviews. Is there some where I can have my resume reviewed? Wow, that' s 4 times as many interviews as I have gotten and I have been doing this for 10 plus years. Be concerned if your paper resume is not getting you interviews or if your not getting interviews via your networking. Career sites are only for prospecting not for job hunting NEVER, NEVER forget that. Having been on the other end and advertised a couple of time on Monster, my experience was that I was buried in reams of resumes both times. Job hunting is Always local. NEVER, NEVER forget that. Take your resume and remove your personal information. Copy and paste it in the Resume forum. We have a lot of posters who are resume experts. I know what you are going through and believe me, everyone goes through those rough periods BUT don' t give up. | |
