Chandler Hill Partners experienceI recently visited with what I thought was a "recruiter". However, it seems they are more of a corporate coaching firm. The firm is Chandler Hill Partners. Has anybody had experience with them? Chandler Hill is more of a "corporate search firm/consultant" than recruiter. They go through an in-depth interview process with you to find out what you are really looking for and what you are really suited for. They take your resume' and tweak it so it will draw more attention. They' ll also coach you on how to interview, what to wear to an interview, etc. They also give you a web page with your resume' , a video-highlight of you speaking about your skills, and they will get involved with any company you' re interviewing with to help place you. They are really a good company. The only reason I didn' t deal with them is because they are a fee-based company. Meaning, they want money from you upfront to do the search for you as opposed to most recruiters which are contingency-based. They don' t get money unless they place you. If you pay Chandler-Hill it' s worth the investment because they not only help you to find a job, they stay with you throughout your time at that job and will assist you again if you decide to leave. I just didn' t have the cash to pay them upfront. | |
