Out of state interview No travel arr

I attended a preliminary phone interview couple of weeks back. I received a call this afternoon from the HR person asking me if I can come in for an interview. We decided on a date and time, but during our conversation, she did not mention anything about the travel arrangements - my flight, accommodation etc.

She said she will send me an email confirming the interview. I was hoping she would address the travel arrangements in the email. But nothing. She had the interview schedule, whom to meet at what times and the address of the company and how to get there. That' s it. I replied to that email asking her will the company take care of my travel arrangements. I did not tell her I need the company to take care of it,or that I am willing to take of everything myself. I haven' t got a reply from her.

May be she forgot I am out of state candidate? Or do I need to pay for everything and they will reimburse me later? What do I do here? I did mention that I am willing to relocate at my own expense, IF I am offered the job. Could that be the reason? I must be hearing from her tomorrow. I don' t know what her reply would be. Any advice?

I would not address this by email.  I' d call her on the phone. If you' re willing to pay for this yourself (no reimbursement) then go ahead and make your arrangements.  If not, then you' re going to have to find out if they' re going to pay for it.  Frankly, it doesn' t sound like it.  Remember very few companies will interview out of state candidates because they don' t want these expenses, so if you really want to job, you might consider it an investment in your future.
