Need Advice 1st all day interview

I am interviewing for my first middle management type job - an all day interview where I will be meeting with several dept heads, VP for my area, etc.  This is my first, and I presume my only interview given the length, with the organization.  I am getting pretty nervous about this - it' s the first time I' ve had this type of interview, and, at least on paper, I think I am exactly what they are looking for.  I think I can prepare well enough to handle technical type questions for the various players, so, my two biggest concerns I would love some advice on are:

1.  How does one stay ' on'   and centered for such a long day?  I test right in the middle of the Myer' s Briggs IE scale - I like meeting new people, but do tend to find it exhausting.  The lunch is with a large group of folks, several of which only get to meet me at the lunch, so no down time there.

2.  What are the key things someone who is currently in a ' high level worker bee' type role need to project in an interview for a ' middle manager' type role?

This is a test. Actually all interviews are tests. But this one is a college-type final exam. The whole point is to see how you react to being "on" all day. And it is not easy. You will undoubtedly have times to leave the hoard, ie: lavatory, where you will be able to sit and think and gather yourself for the next on-slaughter. Probationary periods are like that. 10 years ago when I started with the government we had a six month probationary period. A mere three years later, the powers that be decided to up the ante to a one year probationary period for new hires. The reasoning was, anybody can be good for six months, but before a year is up, something is going to break.

This is the same thing. Anybody can be good for a half an hour or 45 minutes, but before the day is up, something is bound to happen to make you want to break. The trick is to keep on your toes and be on the lookout for that possibility.
