Seeking Underemployment

Do I have to put all my education down when applying for "underemployment"?  I have a college degree and some masters classes but can't get a job in the field I love because I have a bad driving record.  When I list all my education I become over-qualified for positions I'd enjoy until my record clears up -- in like four years.  I need money.  I'm willing (I guess) to take regular 'ole retail sales position, but how do I get a callback for that when I'm clearly over qualified?  Any ideas?

Also any ideas for getting employment in social work with a bad driving record?  I've considered school sw (need clean driving), medical (need medical classes), don't like straight up sit-in-an-office counseling . . . .

Since you haven't finished a Masters there's no need to go into a list of all the courses you've taken.  Just list your BA/BS and leave it at that.

ahh - the great overqualifed but not qualified enough crap - gotta love it.  Just hang in there and try and tweak your resume and as much as it kills me to say it - downplay your education and experience if you have to in order to get an entry level position.  I have never understood being told that i would get bored in a job that I applied to - first off let ME decide that and secondly I can read the job descriptions and I wouldnt have applied if I didnt think it would be a good fit.  Too many times I was applying to get into the company - period - and not just the position - good luck
