Or lack thereof!  Someone, please tell me how I should respond to the person that sent me this email...First I would like to say that I sent a follow up email asking where I stand in hiring process. The email I got in return (I am a guy mind you):

"(Woman's Name),

Did you send him a no thank you letter? If not please do so.

HR"

Seriously, what is this? Wasn't I told that sharp attention to detail and professionalism is a requirement of this job? Then why is it ok for them to mess up this bad? Ok, so its not a bad email that was misdirected to someone else in the company, but come on people get a clue.

How shall I respond?

"Hi, No (Woman's Name) did not send me a no thank you letter, but thanks for having me and letting me know where I stand!"
