Y ou probably saw that we are changing contractors, and I'd be going through this Transition betweeen contracting companies.

Well, apparently, they are re-evaluating the pay scales to our job titles/categories. (Hopefully it won't wind up in a PAY CUT)

However, I am thinking of asking for more money (I currenlty make 15.00/hr, and from what I hear, at least in this state, you can hardly live on those kinds of wages.)

So I am thinking about asking for 20 / hr when re-negotiations come around.

Mostly because this transition has put me out, lost my seniority as well...and essentially starting over. (Back on probationary period from the start again)

So, I don't know if you guys have tried to negotiate, and what kind of wiggle room is given or how firm they are on their offers. But hopefully they can be haggled with

Any suggestions?

I have some peopel telling me I should start looking for another job when they start pulling this crap. Not sure.
