MEDICATION,MI andamp; VIOLENCEI have already stated that one of my medications cost $400+. I have Bush's Part D; however,I still pay through my hairy nose! I had to cut down on one of my medications. The point is: how is a working poor or homeless person with a history of violence and assault going to afford $400+ worth of medications? Also, what if they need several medications that may add up to thousands a month? Of course,they can't possibly afford them! If they go without--those few who are dangerous--don't kretch about the unmedicated taking out kids at a school bus stop thinking they are devils! Bunzo Actually there are a ton of free med places available. www.freemeds.com for one - but do a search for low income or free medication and you wil find tons. I also have huge prescription bills but I dont have a doctor here so I am doing without my meds but once I get a doctor then I know I can get the freemeds again. Oh and also try www.needymeds.com - all of the palces I was signed up with they had the doctor sign off on them and then the doc sends the script into the company and then they mail back a 30 - 90 day supply to the doctor and you pick it up from there. It usaly takes 60 - 90 days to get it approved but once you are approved then you are good to go - also try to put in the name of your specific meds and the word free or soemthing like that - I had to use three different places for my meds cause one place didnt cover all of them. Also alot of the drug companies have their own free or low income or uninsured programs. I had jsut gotten my 90 days of meds approved and it came too late - I was in Arizona by that time and the meds are still in my doctors office cause they wont mail them to me and they wont let my kids pick them up for me If you cant find what you are looking for then please feel free to email me privately at uwishtoo@att.net with a list of your meds and I will find all the sites for you - ok ?
