What the HE__ is wrong with kids like
This is getting to be more than I can handle! Thanks for listening! tb:) Usually when children or teenagers treat larger animals (i.e., not ants, spiders, etc.) in this way, it shows a serious lack of empathy...the ability to feel for others. Certainly these teenagers should be prosecuted and given a good, long, evaluation by a psychologist. But take heart...remember that two 11 year olds rescued this creature and many more people stepped up to help. I could not agree more! Those two kids should be put away for a few years. I guess they deserve professional help. I would love to own a cat but Martin, like a lot of men, does not care for them. If I ever end up living alone and cannot have a dog - I will have a cat! Oh well!
Bunzo TB, When I read stories like that I want to throw up! What the he$% makes people want to do that?! I will never understand.... I have four cats, all rescued. One of the ones I adopted had his front leg broken out of sheer meanness, and left to fend for itself. Thankfully, he made his way to the local SPCA, and decided to pick me as his new staff member. And don't you know he is one of the sweetest creatures? Through patience and time he got over his fear (I think a woman abused him), and his leg is just like new. Are we that power hungry as a society that we have to abuse animals?-Those girls probably have a similarly abusive situation in their own homes, and they need help. I hope they get it. Isn't that (burning, maiming, killing animals) a precursor to serial killing? Hmmmm..... Those girls should pay, but probably won't. I wish they were in TX. We have Loco's Law: http://www.russmartin.com/operation_kindness.asp TG
Wonderful website TG..........Yeeehawwww for Texas
DisabilityPanther will hate me for this but I feel these girls have a mental illness. I am not a psychologist nor am I an expert in why people act the way they do, normal people do not act that way. It has to be something inside their brains that make them NOT think clearly. There is NO way a normal person would brutalize any animal like this. I certainly cannot even harm a bird without feeling very guilty for doing without a good justifiable reason to do so. I can be brutal if my life depended upon it liek being attacked by a pit bull who has its jaws wrapped around my arm but that is the only time I would defend myself ferociously.
Thanks again gang, you guys ROCK!!! tb:) | |
