Overpopulation is a myth.
You could fit every person in the world into 1 US county. There is a a lot of open land left.
Yeah, why not further rape the land, destroy habitat and deplete more resources 'cause we can!!!
Since there are no starving people, wars, poverty, drought or famine let's just make more babies!

That is complete nonsense that we liberals hate the US flag or this country. I am liberal, and yes I am from Massachusetts and proud of my political beliefs. We liberals are ashamed of this country. We are ashamed what George Bush and the clowns who are running this country have done to it and its reputation. We are angry with the Republican Party for allowing him to get away with the nonsense of the last six years. I for one morn this day, because the ideals that this great country stands for have been trashed by the right wing running this country. Fortunately change is in the air.
The right wing pretends to have a monopoly on patriotism. THIS IS COMPLETE NONSENSE! The Republicans in Congress were so desperate to obtain and hold the White House that they were unwilling to stand up to George Bush’s trashing of the US Constitution. This is one of the reasons they took a beating in November. Now it is up to the Democrats to stand up to George Bush instead of caving in as they did with the Iraq spending bill two months ago. Up to now, they have lacked testicular fortitude. If the Democrats don’t get it, we will find others to run this country (Bloomberg?).
The United States is a special, different country. The world is angry with us right now because we are not standing up to our values. This world is in real trouble when this country trashes what is so dear and important to the world and to us Americans. The world expects more from the US as it should. Our values have been an inspiration to billions of people in the world. I expect more from the US! The world expects more from the US. I was proud of this country when Clinton was president. And I could care less who he sleeps with or has sex with. That is Hillary’s business and if she wants to put up with his sexual nonsense, that is her business, not mine! I want my country back! I want the Republican Party of old back. The one thing I am grateful for is that the Republican Party in New England has maintained the true spirit of the party. The national Republican Party has a great deal to learn by looking at the Republicans in New England.

I don't know a single Liberal who hates the U.S. Flag. I don't know a single Liberal who hates the U.S. Constitution. I don't know a single Liberal who hates the U.S. Bill of Rights. I don't know a single Liberal who hates the U.S. Declaration of Independence.
I am a Fiscal Conservative and a fairly Social Liberal although I have some limits (national health care being one).
I can witness with my own eyes many so called Conservatives who hate America and Americans. Witness the decimation of our Constitutional Rights and Protections under the current Administration. Witness the wars being fought and the loss of American life under false pretenses. Witness the loss of American Jobs and the destruction of the American economy through off-shoring and H1B programs. Witness the shadow government. Witness the false prophets and the pseudo Right Wing Religious Leaders who have taken over our airways, schools, courts, and government at the behest and agreement of our current Administration.
Shall I go on? No I don't think so. Thinking people don't need further proof of the truth.
Liberals don't hate the USA. Liberals love the USA. They love the values of our Constitution. They love our Declaration of Independence. They love our Bill of Rights. They love our freedoms and what they mean. They love what our flag means. The Liberals that I know, myself included, want to see all of these things returned to the American people before it is to late; before we sink into the abyss. The Liberals I know want to see America and the American people returned to their place as the beacon of Liberty for the world.
No liberals don't hate babies either. I think you mean that some Liberals are pro-privacy and thus support a woman's right to obtain an abortion in the early stage of her pregnancy. This does not represent anything more or less than the right to privacy. Not a hatred of babies. Most people who support this position understand human development, poverty, and all the other issues surrounding this very personal decision that a woman must make regarding pregnancy and child bearing. It is not about babies. Trying to make it is is nothing more than inflammatory hate speech.
Yeah more and more loads of fish are needed to feed cultivated fish for human consumption. The expansion of consumption of sea food is a worrying development.
Re abortion I would like to add that it almost always is a very heavy decision for women. It is a painful (also physically)experience and creates great emotional distress. I know that from afriend of mine. Even for some women who get pregnant through rape, be it by a stranger, family, acquaintance or their partner (!!), to abort can be a tough decision. Of course primarily, men can use condoms and women anti-conception pills or the morning after pill to help avoid pregnancy in the first place.
