The disabled need to vent too!I don't care if the moderators move this thread. The FACT is the disabled NEED to vent also! They have more vents per board than the other posters. Period.
Of course they do DP! I agree completely and imagine many others do also.
Some agree,but not ALL. Yes! A vent is a vent. Look what IT_DC posted about urination! I guess that if something bothers us enough that we want to tell the world, whether it's a disability or a peeve about restroom etiquette, then we are allowed.
I don't think anyone is disputing that you have as many vents as anyone else. I don't think anyone is denying you the right to vent here or on the Disability forum. What some of us are bothered by is the active hijacking of other threads. Not every thread should be turned into a discussion about disability. Not every discussion is a slap in the face if it is not about the disabled. Good. Then the vent board is open to every one with every vent. dp No one has asked you not to post here DP. What many of us have asked you to cease doing is hijacking other peoples discussions for your own ends. What you do repeatedly is highly discourtous, rude, and disruptive. As I already said. Not every issue needs to be turned into a discussion of your issue. Not every issue needs to be turned into a discussion of the perceived and actual issues surrounding disablity. Not every vent posted by others should be hijacked by a rant about disability. Suffice it to say that we all get the fact that there are issues and that you and others are focused on correcting or venting about Disability Issues. But not all of us are single tracked. Some of us have other things on our mind. Hijacking a discussion about Animal Abuse, or Racial Discrimination, or Gender Discrimination, or Age Discrimination, or just plain venting about the state of things for your personal soapbox simply makes people angry and shuts down other discussions. So vent away about your personal pet subject. But leave others to vent and discuss what is on their mind. Oh! What does "hijack"mean? If I think what it means,I have been hijacked more times than some airplanes. dp Not going any further down this path with you. You know precisely what it means in this context.
