Site for employees to rate their company
I'm not sure how useful this will be here, by I recently came across this site (http://www.jobjabber.net) that lets employees rate and review their employers. Looks like it's brand new and doesn't contain much, but could be useful.
Two question: 1. Are the legal issues involved? 2. Just how secure is that site?
I'm sure the site has potential for legal issues (libel). But it does promise everything is anonymous, so I'd guess if there were to be legal issues, they would be directed at the operators of the site. As far as how secure it is, I couldn't say. I would say just don't enter any private information.
I contacted the administrators of the site and it looks like they are working on the terms of service right now, which will cover legal issues like the ones we've been talking about.

I just recently checked this site out; they don't require any information other than an email address, so as long as you're careful, you should be able to avoid any legal issues. | |
