AFLAC
does anyone have anything to say about working for AFLAC I've heard really good things or really bad things. I am thinking about leaving my current job to go and work for them...any advice
Are you going to be their goose? I have a friend who works for Aflac. She's been with them a long time and she likes it a lot. On the other hand, it IS an insurance company. WB
Is it hard to sell insurance? AFLAC here in Chicago is having an open house and I cosidered going.
Carrie, It is a very good and respected company. Keep an open mind and look at it. You may like what you find.
It's always best to go into business for yourself, as corporate America just isn't too good to its workers these days. AFLAC is an insurance place - I doubt they would treat their workers with respect. Go to the open house, and talk to as many people as you can. Schmooze everyone and come right out and ASK if they like working for Aflac. Get as much information as possible. Go home and read it all. Talk to all your family and friends and ask if they know anyone who works for Aflac. Call that person or those persons and ask if you can have a brief (15 minutes or so) informational interview with them. Make a list of questions that you might have about the job and the company. This is the kind of information you need to make a good decision. My friend likes working for Aflac. She has a lot of respect for the company. WB | |
