Temporary Sucess

Today, I was given short-term employment, as I predicted by a don' t call us, we' ll call you agency.

I wore as you would guess, the same attire I wore on my last three ventures. This makes 11 days short of a full two years of unemployment ( $10.75/$11 for potentially one or more weeks + of work ), starting May 4.

Congrats to me. Thank you, thank you very much.  I couldn' t have done it without you.

Wait a minute. Of course I can.  I just did.

But needless to say, I have doubts about it being any longer than a week.  When I walked into the interview there were already two people there interviewing for what I would guess are multiple positions.

What the heck, 6 days is better than nothing.  Not the kind of paycheck I want, but I wouldn' t wipe my ( rhymes with sass ) with it either.   I need the money.

If you show your true colors on the job like you' ve shown here, it just might be only one day of employment and they' ll say "see ya"!

Seriously though, congratulations!  Remember, it' s up to you to show the employer what you can do for them, not the other way around.  If you do, then they might even want you permanently.  Wishful thinking, huh?
