Aggressive typersThe guy in the cube next to me is one of the loudest types I have ever encountered. He types so hard that I can literally feel my desk shake. He also bangs on the ENTER key for added emphasis. And whenever I walk past his desk, I can see the IM window on his screen. I knew that a programmer couldn' t type so fast when working on code... it had to be either IM or email. Tell him that if he keeps it up, he' ll have carpal tunnel and other problems in no time. On the other hand, don' t tell him. He' ll get something out of typing so hard. Then he' ll have to leave and you have to put up with him anymore! I know this guy - he wore the letters off his lap top keyboard in three months! Headphones. Oh good Lord. At a previous job, the whiney guy in the cube across from me used to complain that I typed too loud. He needed to get some headphones and a life. Eventually he was fired for incompetence. He was masquerading as a programmer but was really only a Business Analyst. That' s just one step above IHR trool! We don' t have any of those. We do have a "Contracts Specialist". He' s OK. I' m thinking of ordering new bidness cards, do you think they' d go for "Defend of the Faith"? How about "Wizard, Extraordinary"? | |
