When HR never returns your calls Part IIOkay, I read an "HR Response/Recruiter Response" to the whole "Why they don't get back with us reasons. But in my particular case....this is a company that's constantly hiring for these positions. So its not like "one position" it gets filled, and that's it, it's over....this is continous. These numnuts have had these positions not only posted continuously on Monster but ALSO, (since I live quite NEAR the location) posted OUTSIDE! That's right, ever been driivng past an industrial area out in the country, and you'd see those "Help Wanted: <list of named positions here> They have THAT as well, so I have two sources (while everyone on monster only sees one source. And this has been going on for about 7 months now, without them really getting back to me. I emailed, called and left messages, and even went in PERSON to drop off the application to the front desk secretary. Prior to those 7 months, they did have a pretty good recruiter that was good at getting back with me, then when I went to call about more information, she wound up not working there anymore, and the job was taken over by someone who apparently don't know how to do their job. So obviously....the PREVIOUS HR person had no problem getting back with me, so I'm wondering why THIS one HR person is never getting back to me.
I would just forget about the position for now. It seems like that company is going through some things. Some HR people are just rude....I had three interviews with a company and followed up with the HR person twice and still no follow up......oh and I love when they say either way will follow up w/you by next week.....in HR talk that means you didn't get the job and I'll just ignore all your calls and e-mails. | |
