Work for the USPSWant a good job? Work for the United States Postal service! But how hard it is to get in? YOu figured "Heck, it's a global thing, has to be tons of openings right. Benefits, perks, pension, you name it. Is working for the USPS a good place to work for? Around here for the USPS, at least for part time/seasonal work, there' s a two year waiting period. Even then, you can only work 90 days at a time, and you can only work 90 day periods twice a year. So... you have to wait 2 years to work part time for half the year. I' m not sure what the deal is with full-time employment. Check into working for UPS or FEDEX! Some people have no problem working for the USPS, others can' t cope. I think they make good money, and receive good benefits. If not, someone will be along shortly to correct me. I live in a mostly ' Aryan' community but when i go to the post office everyone working behind the counter is Philipino! | |
