Favoritism

I think I' ve come to the conclusion, and from whatever one had beensaying about my boss, before and after I was let go, that she preferredto have a woman working with her, and not a man.

I found out whoreplaced me at my position (yeah I live in a small area, it' s easy tofound out these things), apparently it was an internal employee thatchanged department as often as she changed her underwear.

Well, apparently  my boss was suck buddies with this particular femaleco-worker, would often have long conversations in her office with thedoor closed and so on.

I' m thinking she preferred having a female work for her and so did everyone else.

Ican verify this by a few co-workers and vendors that have dealt withher, and of course didn' t like her....alot of people didn' t like her.

Myformer co-worker remarked, after I was fired, "Well, I guess she wanteda woman working for her." And a vendor that I knew well from myworkplace found out who replaced me and told me, he was thinking thatshe wanted similar gender working for her, esp if she was tight withthem in a "clickish" kind of way.

I know the person she hireddoesn' t get much work done around there anyway, and if you ask her todo a favor, she cops an attitude, and says "do it yourself".  One timeI was in the middle of eating my sandwich (this is when she was at herother position which she "flunked" two cert. tests), there was a fax ofmine that came out of the machine and she walks over to hand it tome, well, my hands were full of food, and I said, "Would you put it onthe desk over there, and I' ll pick it up when I' m done here."

She got all ticked at me. (as if I was bossing her around).

Andthis "co-worker", would always try to make it look like she was pushingme around by saying "MOVE!" instead of "Excuse me" when she wanted toget by or get at something.

So I guess my boss figured that two *itches were better than just one working in her dept.

Arethere some women out there that prefer to be working among otherwomen??  Some kind of "Sisterhood" thing? Sometimes I think wasborderline Misandrism.
