FavoritismI think I' ve come to the conclusion, and from whatever one had beensaying about my boss, before and after I was let go, that she preferredto have a woman working with her, and not a man. I found out whoreplaced me at my position (yeah I live in a small area, it' s easy tofound out these things), apparently it was an internal employee thatchanged department as often as she changed her underwear. Well, apparently my boss was suck buddies with this particular femaleco-worker, would often have long conversations in her office with thedoor closed and so on. Myformer co-worker remarked, after I was fired, "Well, I guess she wanteda woman working for her." And a vendor that I knew well from myworkplace found out who replaced me and told me, he was thinking thatshe wanted similar gender working for her, esp if she was tight withthem in a "clickish" kind of way. So I guess my boss figured that two *itches were better than just one working in her dept. Arethere some women out there that prefer to be working among otherwomen?? Some kind of "Sisterhood" thing? Sometimes I think wasborderline Misandrism. | |
