HELP ME!!!!!


HEY everyone, i need help i need someone to answer a question for me? (AM I BEING TAKING ADVANTAGE OF??????) I am a Shift Supervisor for a Fast Food Resturant, i wanna know when one of the employee' s call out is it my responsilbe to find coverage for them or my boss the GM when there is a problem she tells them to call me, when there is a problem and it is her day off she tell them to call me,Second thing, i was wondering as a GM is she allowed to scheule herself for one time but show up 2hrs later, example she works sundays 9am to 5pm but comes in at 11:00am and leaves at 3:00 but when she sends the paper work into payroll and they are paying her for 40 hrs and she is only working 30 because she is always late can she get in  trouble for that even if she is salary paid.

This IS your job. She can "schedule" herself whenever she pleases. Why are you worried about when she' s there? It' s not her job to cover shifts, that' s yours

I' ve worked fast food, (you have my sympathies!) and it is the Shift Supervisor--NOT the General Manager' s--job to ensure there' s enough coverage. That' s YOUR job. Maybe this fact wasn' t made clear to you. Maybe you' re starting to realize how much work your position can be. But it IS your job.

Your GM' s hours are not your business. Maybe this will get her in trouble someday, maybe not. In either case, that has nothing to do with your actual problem.
