ANY COMEDY WRITERS HEREThese Message Boards have great potential for being turned into a television sitcom series or a movie. A clever and talented comedy writer could come up with scripts about how typical Forum participants interact with each other on these Boards regarding very serious matters as well as more trivial and lighthearted stuff. To make the sitcom even more provocative and dramatic, these participants could eventually meet each other somewhere, and the results could either be worthwhile or satisfying or even negative or disastrous! These skits could combine comedy and serious drama! Since forum participation is so popular these days along with blogs and other forms of communication between people on the Net, this could really be funny and timely provided, of course, that the comedy writing was outstanding and the actors were top notch. Seriously - if anyone has a talent for comedy writing, he should consider trying his hand at this and submitting his scripts to the best agents and agencies he can find.
Bunzo Bunzo, You might try Mr. Rusty Weston on the globalization board. His writing is laced with some of the best comedy I have seen on Monster. Nyuck, nyuck, woop woop, HEY........Moe! Sorry couldn't help myself. Needed to do that after being on the globalization board. If you haven't been there take a look. Have to laugh. AOR CEO
You're a regular riot! I have been on that Forum. It's very interesting. I enjoy your posts. People are funny when they are being themselves and this place is a slice of life!
Bunzo I love slap stick along the lines of Lucille Ball (I Love Lucy) and The Marx Brothers. As a kid, I alos loved to watch of the old Three Stoogies clips. But George Burns, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Milton Berle, Carol Burnett, Johnny Carson, Red Skelton, Red Buttons and Robin Williams (ad Lib) are all comedians I would love to emulate. Bunzo and All, I love this idea and I know we have good writers on these boards. And OC, I too appreciate the old stuff when I get to hear or see it. I try to find good quality comedy when I listen to the radio or watch TV when I can. I think it is very good for the body and soul. We all need to do this, especially when we don't have time.
You're being ironic, aren't you? Have to laugh, instead of cry, huh?
My favorites include (no particular order): I Love Lucy The Dick Van #### Show The Carol Burnett Show The Honeymooners The Roseanne Show Married With Children The Andy Griffith Show and a few others
Bunzo Mrs. Clooney, Yes, you pegged it. Thanks, AOR CEO Bunzo, Loved all those old shows. Don't forget Barney Miller. AOR CEO And look at the word that Monster.com bleeped out: D Y K E! How silly, but I guess their software does this automatically.
