I have been contemplating a career change from the daily grind of newspapers for at least the past years. I recently decided to enroll in a AA program for graphic design because it was closely aligned with what I currently do. Until I finish, I need out NOW! As much as I love journalism, it is not very family friendly. I have seen several job postings in PR, and I know for most journalists that's the next step. However, I'm afraid because although they are related, it is from two different sides of the table. Are there any journalism/liberal grads who have changed careers to PR?
