I have worked in the hotel industry for over 8 years all with the same company.  I actually started my career as a front desk associate while I was still in school and have moved up the ladder to be the general manager of a hotel, which I have been doing for about 2 years.

However, I have become increasingly unhappy in my current position.  I am not really sure that I want to stay in the hotel industry either.  I need to get some advice on some possible positions I could move into with my work experience.  My degree is in Biology, so my work experience has had nothing to do what I studied in school so I am not really sure what I could transition to.

In my current position I am in charge of all aspects of the operation of the hotel, such as payroll management, accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as personnel management.

Any help you could provide will be appreciated.
