Retroactive Salary Increase
Not sure this is the right board, but here is my situation... I have recently given my two weeks notice to leave my current position. A few weeks ago (before I resigned), I received notification that I would be receiving a 6.5% salary increase. The increase was to be reflected in an upcoming paycheck (next week) and would be retroactive back to January 1. Someone mentioned to me that I might not get the increase since I was leaving the organization. There is nothing in the Employee Manual which would lead me to think I wouldn't receive the increase. I know I would forfeit any bonus I might be entitled to, since they aren't paid until next month. Any thoughts? | |
