Get job if I may relocate for hubs job

My predicament is whether or not to get a job since we are planning on moving for my husband's job in the next 6 months to a year.  My situation is that the job I've had for the last year and a half ended because they ran out of money (start -up company).

I am now finishing my MBA full-time and will be done in September.  I would like to get a job but I do not want to have to quit one within a year when we relocate for my husband's job.  I tried looking at larger companies that have locations in the area where we may move to but there aren't many (I live in a somewhat remote area).  I know I could get a part-time entry level job doing customer service or sales but it's such a step down from what I was doing, and I don't enjoy it that much.   I also don't want to look like a job hopper...

Has anyone else dealt with this scenerio?  Any advice?

Are you a nurse with an MBA?  That isn't clear in your post.  If so, you could consider consulting in a hospital or taking on an "interim" job rather than signing on for a full time job and leaving after a years time.

Be open and honest with the employer.  You may be surprised that they have a temporary or interim job you could fill!

Good luck!
