I have had a 17 year career in payroll.  I am tired.  I am bored.  If I have to hear one more Director that needs a corrected payroll document, I'll scream.  Ok, now that I have vented......  I am looking for advice on how to make this transition.  I have an Associates degree in Accounting.  I am in school working on my second degree.  I thought perhaps HR is a way to go.  How do I make the transition from payroll to something a little more rewarding?
