How to make a smooth transition
I have been an attorney for the past year plus, but I am much more interested in a business career. My undergraduate degree was in business from a top university, but I have still been unable to get a sniff at any entry-level positions. Ideally, I would like a position in finance/investing world considering I have a good handle on those fundamentals. I would greatly appreciate any advice on how I could best market myself to financial shops, large corporations, etc.. in order to get my foot in the door. Thanks.
The major investment, mortgage and finance firms have legal departments so you may think about combining your skills and interests. By contacting the legal departtments of these firms, you can get your foot in the door, learn something new about the world of finance and from there gravitate to other areas. | |
