Trying to get into medical salesHi all, I currently own a small business in Boston and I'm in the process of selling it and trying to get back into the work force. I previously come from a technical background. I've been trying to get into medical sales to no avail. I need 2 - 3 yrs B2B sales. I do all sales for my company now and I have been a sales engineer in the past but I don't have any direct B2B sales experience.
Know any good companies where I can really get a good start on my new career?
Thanks for any help Frankly, no. Medical/Pharm sales is the big "dream job" of the week. Unless you've got a very solid science/engineering background and the B2B sales, it is unlikely you're going to be able to get an interview much less the position. You can certainly try, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. They've got thousands of highly qualified people and young grads right out of school to choose from.
