Hi All,

          Here is my opinion for the Edison Job Fair for Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Holiday Inn – Edison Location: 3050 Woodbridge Avenue Edison, NJ 08830.  Meet with top employers from Edison at the...  I arrive after 10:30 people were going in and what looked like employers I decided to go in at 10:45 AM I figured that the doors were already open to everyone wow did I get a shock!  The reprehensive from Monster.com said a few words of advice to us jobseekers and he said we are letting you in 50 or so in at a time.  I had to wait on line for over 30 minutes just to get to the registration desk I signed my self in and entered the room.  While I was on line in the lobby I’ve listened to some the job seekers who were on line and talked too them to see how it was going with them as well as myself, to kill some time.  I was really surprised on the size of the room, how small it was.  I noticed that there were some big companies there and some I have never hear of.  I did notice that there were a number of empty tables “no shows”.  I meet with a number of employers but not accepting positions in my field “Pc Repair, Desktop Support or Side Desktop Support”.  I stood on line to meet with a reprehensive from a company for about 5 minuets weren’t too bad.  I decided to sit for a while so my back wasn’t hurting as much.  After I sat down a he asked how it is going I said tough for what I want to do in the field that I want!  He gave me really something to think about, “like think out side of the box”.  Try another something that I already know and go with that and while I am in that position I can look for the job I like and still get paid for looking!  I went to other see a reprehensive for another company I saw that the line liked to be about 15 or 20 minute it turned out to be 30 minuets ling but I stuck it out.  I must of spent way over an hour just waiting on line just to get some were and to find out that the company is hiring for a specific position and not open to other positions.
