terminated

I was terminated from my last job and I don't know what to say on applications when they ask why. My boss couldn't give me a clear reason for why I was being terminated. I'm not trying to hide the truth just need to know what to say
Confused,

I'd go back to your employer and try to get to someone who can help you.  They're the only ones that know the answer.

Otherwise, the only thing you can say is the truth, which I think a potential employer might find hard to swallow.

On the other hand, while it wouldn't be my personal preference, if you want to take a bit of a risk, put anything you want down on your applications.  In most cases, when a potential employer checks in with your previous employer, usually all that is given are a confirmation that you did work there, your dates of employment, and maybe salary.

Don't bother to lie.  Any interviewer with a brain knows you didn't leave a perfectly good job for no reason unless there was a serious problem.

Why do you THINK you were fired?  Give us the short and sweet and we can help you frame it in the best light (if there is one).
