Stay the courseI have 6+ years experience in HR/Benefits administration. My last 2.5 years has been spent in IT with a very reputable company. I resigned from this company 3 months ago, returning to HR/Bene... The past 3 months have brought me to the realization that, while the move I made was much better from a personal perspective, professionally I feel that I will be at a standstill based on what the job turns out to entail. I guess the ultimate ? is, should I try to get back into IT as soon as possible or stay the course? By that I mean, I just started my MBA, I originally planned to at least finish MBA b4 seeking something else. There have been several warning signs since I started 3 months ago, ee' s resigning, hint of potential sale, shifting of resources... Bottom line, day to day I really do not enjoy any aspects of this new position, but on the flip side I have concerns about trying to step out there again, having to justify why I am leaving an industry only to return to it... Also, facing the possibility of jumping into similar circumstances that compelled me to leave, etc... | |
