Help Desk Geek to Manager
Over the last 15 years, I have been working in the wireless field in every capacity from customer service rep to Network Engineer to NOC tech. Here is the thing that most people don't see, these are all customer service jobs. Better titles and better pay but it's still a customer service job. As a supervisor, I coached, mentored and supported about 100 representatives. I taught them what I did successfully and watched many of them blossom into great reps and also great people. The thing I love to do is work with people, helping them reach their potential. I want to become a life coach eventually but I am having trouble finding the time and the funding to get that accomplished. So the question at the moment is, how do I get back to something I love like coaching, supervising, etc after doing helpdesk work for so long? My resume highlights my success as a manager yet I barely get any responses. Thoughts? Thanks!
Please post your resume for us to review. Since your goal is to become a life coach do you have a degree (an advanced graduate degree hopefully) in pyschology, sociology, social work, management, or similar? | |
