Career ChangeLooking into a possible career change, but am not entirely sure yet. In my current position, i coordinate and implement training. I like my current job, but do not like the industry. I have considered going for my masters in counseling (which is more related to my undergrad degree), education administration or arts administration, but am not sure. My interests are in psychology, education and the arts. What are some career advancements for a counselor? Does anyone have any advice to how I can combine my interests? The only thing that came to mind was finding employment as a school psychologist or school guidance counselor. You could try for a college career counselor or even something in the high schools for Juniors and Seniors for when they need guidance and counseling for their after high school educational pursuits. Or in the elementary schools to make sure that the kids get on the right track in setting and achieving their primary educational goals. | |
